Will Harvey, Burton born and bred professional golfer based at Branston Golf & Country Club and aiming for the pinnacle of his career is offering members of Branston an unique sponsorship deal to help him devote his full attention to golf and share his success with investors.

Already very successful on the mini tour, former Robert Sutton High School student and Burton Rugby Club player, Will (27) began his path to the top of the golf profession by working part-time behind the bar and waiting-on at Branston Pavilion to earn a bit of money, whilst developing his sporting skills at Branston and winning both the Junior and Club Championships before turning professional in 2011.

Currently having a very sought after full-time job at Titleist, golf's leading equipment supplier, Will from Rolleston on Dove, currently hones his golfing skills at Branston playing early & late before travelling across the Midlands and North of England on club-fitting assignments for his employer.

Will’s winning ways! - 'Since turning professional I've won five major competitions, including winning the Order of Merit on the 1836 Tour in 2014 as well as finishing in the top 3 in my 15 other professional events, narrowly missing out on a place in the British Open in 2015. All of which makes me quietly confident in my ambition to win a place on golf's prestigious European Tour' said Will who is coached by Tom Whitehouse, an eight times European Tour player.

'I'm giving up my job & salary at the end of this year to concentrate on playing full time to enter the tour qualifying competitions in 2017, aiming to firstly get into the top 100 of 1,500 players on the EuroPro tour and following that aiming to qualify for the Challenge Tour. From which the top 15 players will qualify for the ultimate aim to play on the European Tour'. 'The Europro competitions can bring around £10,000 for first place, progressing to the Challenge tour first place winnings of £35,000 and ultimately the European Tour winnings can bring in excess of £1/2 million!' exclaimed Will.

Sponsorship Opportunities - Supported by his family, lifelong members of Branston Golf & Country Club that's helping with promotional opportunities, Will is now offering Branston members 250 sponsored shares an unique and limited opportunity of sharing in his successes by each investing £50 to cover his golf expenses for which he will return 50% of his 2017 prize-money. 'I'm looking forward to sharing my success with 250 members who'd like the opportunity to take a punt on supporting a local lad, sharing in the glory of perhaps seeing me on the big stage lifting trophies for Branston & Burton' said Will.

Sponsorship forms & details are available now at Branston’s Golf Lodge and anyone needing more information can contact either Will Harvey at william_harvey@acushnetgolf.com or Director of Golf Richard Odell at richard@branstonclub.co.uk or 01283 528304.
