Love is in the air! Valentines day is the most popular day of the year to 'pop the question'.
There are many ways to ask, here's a few ideas for if you are thinking of getting down on one knee or want some things to hint to your partner...
A personsal favourite of mine is recreating a special date to ask the question. Whether it be the first day you both confessed your love for one another or an official anniversary, a really nice way to make the occasion really special and memorable is picking details from your special day (a song that was played, a drink that was drank or by going back to the same restaurant). Thoughtful and personal.
If you're not so much the romantic type, a fun way to ask the question is by hiding the ring in plain sight, somewhere you know it will be found. Ideally, you'll be there when it's found to actually ask the question.
If you really want to go all out, then an exciting way to propose would be to phone up your local or favourite radio station and ask them to ask the question on air. But make sure you are both listening. You may have to pay a small price for an ad slot but it will definitley be one to remember.
If you and your partner have a particular country or place you both love you could try asking them to marry you in that language. But ensure you get the pronunciation down to a 'T'.
A simple yet effective way is making a reservation at a restaurant, letting the restaurant know in advance your plans so they could help you with your proposal. They could write on the rim of your partners desert plate the four very special words. The restaurant does the hard work, all you have to do if present the ring.
