Changes at Branston Golf & Country Club
What will be different?
In order to allow extra time for thorough cleaning regimes, we are temporarily amending our opening times.
The Clubhouse will open to members at the following times:
Monday to Saturday – 8am until 10pm (Food served until 8pm)
Sunday – 8am until 8pm (Food served until 6pm)
We will be offering a booking system in the Clubhouse and we strongly recommend that you reserve a table in order to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins will be allowed, however these will be subject to availability and you may have to wait for a table to become available.
Bookings will open on Thursday (2nd July) and (until Saturday) we ask that you call 01283 528337 between the hours of 9am and 4pm to reserve your table. From Saturday 4th July you will be able to book in person at Reception or call the Reception Team on 01283 512211 between the hours of 8am and 8pm daily. If you call outside of these hours we ask that you kindly leave a voicemail with your contact details and the request for your table and we will call you back the next working day to confirm your booking.
You will be able to reserve a table on the Patio or seating indoors, please be aware that during inclement weather, if we are fully booked indoors we may not be able to accommodate a move indoors from a Patio table.
Bookings are taken in 7 day windows and the following restrictions apply in order to accommodate all our members:
Members joining us for drinks only – Time Limit of 1 hour on the table
Members joining us for a meal – Time Limit of 1 ½ hours on the table
For our Golf Members who would like to join us for a drink before or after a round of Golf there will be a limited amount of tables reserved for walk ins to have a drink. Please note, the timings will be restricted to 45 minutes. If you wish to dine with us we recommend booking in advance.
Please also note that most of our tables are restricted to a maximum of 4 people.
Due to restrictions on seating the following guidelines are in place. This will allow everyone a chance to enjoy the Clubhouse facilities.
Access to all areas of the Clubhouse will be limited to the main entrance in order to comply with a one way system.
Please wash your hands on arrival or use the sanitiser provided.
On arrival all members must report to Reception to check in and log Government Track & Trace information. The team member will then take you through to your reserved table.
There is no standing room allowed and all members must be seated at a table.
Please note due to government guidance the tables and fixtures have been spaced out, please do not move any furniture. If you require assistance please see a member of the Food & Beverage Team.
We are capacity restricted so unfortunately, we may be full during peak times. If you have not reserved a table we ask for your patience during this time and please speak to a member of the Reception team who will ask you to join the queueing area located through the Golfers Entrance until a table becomes available.
In order to accommodate social distancing we have extended our patio service area.
The Golfers only area will be located on the tables outside of the St Andrews room and also down on the new area adjacent to the 18th Green.
The bays on the Patio have been marked out with safety tape, please ensure your party is seated inside this area to comply with social distancing measures.
For the comfort of all our guests, the Patio will be strictly no smoking. We will have a smoking area located by the main entrance to the Clubhouse. A member of the team can direct you to this area.
We have a dedicated Family Area where children under the age of 11 will be able to access seating on the Patio. This will be located by the Hot Tub Area. Please note that children under the age of 11 will not be permitted to sit anywhere else on the Patio for safety reasons and we kindly ask that all children are supervised at all times and that they follow social distancing rules.
The main toilets will be open to our members, we are adopting a one in one out policy to keep our members safe, please ensure social distancing whilst waiting in this area. We appreciate this won’t be easy to achieve at all times, but we ask for a common sense approach.
We are excited to announce the launch of our new app ordering process. The app will be live from Wednesday the 8th July and you will be able to access this from your ESP main club app on your phone.
Members are welcome to still order from the till points, but please exercise social distancing and return straight to your table once you have placed your order. Markings will indicate the areas for queuing. Where possible, please allow the queue to reduce before proceeding to the till points. Orders will only be taken at the till points which are fitted with safety screens.
For your Safety and Protection
Please only enter the Clubhouse if you feel well, please remain at home if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus.
Extra cleaning will be undertaken throughout the day and all tables will be sanitised fully in between each seating. The staff will be more than happy to assist if you would like us to further sanitise your table during your dining experience. We will be bringing in extra staff to implement this.
Please do not arrange to meet in large groups as we are restricted in the numbers we can accommodate and all government guidance surrounding group numbers apply, most of our tables are restricted to 4 guests.
Air conditioning will be on and doors and windows will be open throughout the building to improve ventilation and more doors will propped open to reduce contact points.
Staff have been provided with training and will ensure that good hand hygiene is incorporated during their working hours. Staff have been supplied with face coverings which they will wear at all times when social distancing is not possible; such as delivery of food, clearing tables and taking orders.
Loud Music & Sport broadcasts will be restricted as per the Government Rules.
Thank you for your understanding.
