Our competitions run from April to October on both the 18-hole Championship and 9-hole Eagle courses. The winning competitors receive money on their Lodgement Cards and/or trophies. Please note that you must have a WHS Handicap Index to enter
Throughout the year our golf fixtures include regular junior competitions on both the 18-hole Championship and 9-hole Eagle courses including medals, stablefords and major competitions for all levels of handicap; please note that you need a WHS Handicap Index before you can enter any competition. Branston Seniors are a lively, friendly and welcoming section where you can always be assured of a game. Members must be over 55 years of age to join the section and to participate in the home and away senior inter-club matches.
The Branston Seniors section play every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings with the draw for playing partners for the day made at 8.30am in the clubhouse, normally teeing off from 9.04am. The section currently plays 26 inter-club matches both home and away, and organises various major senior section competitions and two senior Opens in addition to mixed events with the Branston Ladies Section. Every Thursday morning a merry band of ladies called the F.R.O.G.S. – the Friendly Round Of Golf Society – get together to enjoy exactly what their name suggests. The group allows beginners and experienced lady golfers to play golf together in a fun, welcoming environment over 9 holes followed by a get-together in the clubhouse bar afterwards.

Our highly popular Eagle Texas Scramble Competitions are ideal for golfers with little on-course experience or for those who just enjoy participating in fun competitions. Both members and non-members are welcome, you don’t even need a WHS Handicap Index to take part.
The entry fee is £20.00 per person, to be paid on entry.
Friendly and welcoming section of 50 years and over. You do not need an WHS Handicap Index, but should you wish to work towards one we will support you. We play a mixture of 9 holes more than 9 or 18, depending on how able you feel.
We also incorporate the clubs stableford competitions that are scheduled to play on our day, for those wishing to participate. We also do 2 away days at one of our reciprocal golf clubs.
